Work Day — May 4th, 2013

Today, Rich and I started early this morning, traveling out to pickup Bob’s tiller. We then spread the dirt as well. Thank you to everyone that made it out this morning! We made great progress today! It won’t be long until we have some Strawberries to pick!

Thanks to everyone!

Soil Delivery April 25, 2013.

Our friends Kenny and Diane Gehringer at Four Springs Farms brought us a load of more compost about 10 yds. Their compost includes looks of good nutrient rich, food waste from Wegman’s, etc. We also received several bales of hay. Thank you Four Springs Farms!

Hello Friends and Gardeners,

Over the winter I made the mistake of leaving about 100 packets of various seeds in a box in the shed. When we came to look at the seed packets, the box was buried in shredded paper, and the seed packets were eaten into with the seeds missing! Ironically, there was 1 pack of melon seeds that was not touched!

Just a reminder to keep your seeds well protected!
