Hello Gardeners!
Our season is coming to a close with a frost warning this evening. If you have anything you’d like to harvest, it would be good to get out there today if you can as some things will not survive after the frost. We have had a great season with 850 lbs. of produce donated. Thank you all for your efforts this growing season, we should be proud of our accomplishments. Every growing season is a little different and presents its own set of challenges. This year, I think overall we had less rain, but we’ve done better with our collection efforts, seeing less spoilage overall with a wider range of crops.
Thank you all for getting back to me on picking dates for clean-up. We will start with the first two dates including next Saturday. Looking forward to seeing you there!
