Hello Gardeners!
Sorry for the delay in sending this out! Since the beginning of July we’ve had a pretty impressive haul of produce coming out of the garden. I’m so proud of you all and the great work we have done this season! Thanks to Sue and Meg for all the work you’ve done harvesting, weeding, and everything. We are up to 78 lbs. of produce, for this time of year we are doing great. Looking back at the same timeframe – on 7/16/2014 we had donated 24 lbs. on 7/08/2013 we were at 20 lbs.
The garden is looking great. Things are looking very healthy. But that also means so are the weeds. I think we are starting to lose the war on weeds. We should have garden workday soon to catch up on clean up, mowing and weeding efforts. I was wondering if anyone could do this Saturday morning (07/18) for an hour or two, starting around 10AM. Could start a bit later if it works out better.

07/14/2015 – 28 lbs. – Beans, Cucumbers, Turnips, Beets, Potatoes, Scallions, Squash – New Bethany Ministries (Megan)
