As the rain sets in again, I hope it will do our garden some good. Tomatoes have been struggling this season, though we are just starting to get some beans, and the squash and cucumbers have been our big producers this year. That may change though as many squash plants are starting to wilt, and the squash bugs seem plentiful. Looking into some organic approaches we could take I got some organic soap spray and some diatomaceous earth. Both are said to help. So we will give it a go, though it may be a little late.
But our donations are doing well. We’ve had some great cabbage also this season, which we haven’t had a lot of luck with in the past. A different season, a different set of veggies that do well!
